Our client is seeking a highly skilled Optical Process Manager to join their dynamic team in Batu Kawan, Penang. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing optical manufacturing processes to ensure high-quality output and operational efficiency. You will act as a bridge between engineering design and production, driving continuous improvement initiatives and ensuring strict adherence to safety and quality standards.

You will lead a team of technicians and operators, implement Lean methodologies, and spearhead projects that reduce waste and improve yield. Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee daily operations of the optical assembly and manufacturing lines to ensure production targets are met.
- Analyze current processes to identify bottlenecks and implement Lean/Six Sigma improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Collaborate with R&D and engineering teams to troubleshoot optical defects and improve product quality.
- Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to maintain consistency and compliance.
- Train, mentor, and supervise production staff to ensure high performance and safety standards.
- Monitor quality control metrics and implement corrective actions to reduce scrap rates.
- Ensure full compliance with safety regulations and company policies within the manufacturing floor.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Optical Engineering, Physics, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in optical manufacturing, process engineering, or quality control.
- Proven experience in managing production lines and leading cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with optical testing equipment and metrology tools is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles and process optimization techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in using CAD software and manufacturing execution systems (MES).
