About the Role
SC Johnson, a global leader in household consumer products and a proud family company, is seeking a dedicated Packaging Engineer Intern to join our innovative team in Petaling, Selangor. What You Will Do
- Assist in the design, development, and optimization of primary, secondary, and tertiary packaging for new and existing product launches.
- Conduct comprehensive packaging performance tests including ISTA, compression, drop, vibration, and material analysis to ensure quality and durability.
- Support the creation and management of technical packaging specifications, prototypes, and CAD drawings.
- Collaborate with global teams to implement sustainable packaging solutions that align with SC Johnson’s environmental goals.
- Participate in cost reduction and value engineering initiatives by evaluating alternative materials and suppliers.
- Prepare clear technical reports, presentations, and project documentation to communicate findings and drive decision-making.
- Assist in coordinating plant trials and supplier qualifications to ensure seamless production scale-up.

Tanggung Jawab

Kualifikasi
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
- Strong academic background with a keen interest in packaging materials, structures, and manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) is mandatory.
- Experience with 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or ArtiosCAD) is a strong advantage.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Previous internship, co-op, or project experience in packaging, manufacturing, or FMCG is highly desirable.
