Ideals Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Packaging Supervisor to join a leading manufacturing company based in the Pioneer area of the West Region. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader who brings both supervisory experience and CNC programming proficiency to drive operational excellence across packaging and machining departments.
In this dual-focused role, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the packaging line, ensuring timely output, quality standards, and safety compliance. At the same time, you will apply your expertise in Mastercam CNC programming to support 4-axis and 5-axis machining operations, providing technical guidance to operators and troubleshooting issues as they arise. Your ability to bridge the gap between packaging and precision machining will be key to optimizing workflow and minimizing downtime.
Key aspects of the role include: leading a team of packers and machinists, scheduling shifts to meet production goals, conducting quality checks, maintaining equipment, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives. You will also handle inventory control of packaging materials and cutting tools, and collaborate with the engineering team on new product introductions.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in manufacturing supervision, coupled with hands-on CNC programming skills using Mastercam. Familiarity with 4-axis and 5-axis machining is essential. You should possess excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and a commitment to workplace safety.
This is a full-time permanent position offering a competitive salary package of $3,000 – $3,500 per month, plus benefits. The role is based in Pioneer, West Region. Tanggung Jawab
- Supervise daily packaging operations and ensure production targets are met
- Develop and implement packaging procedures to improve efficiency and reduce waste
- Provide technical support for CNC programming using Mastercam for 4-axis and 5-axis machining operations
- Train and mentor packaging and machining staff on best practices and safety standards
- Monitor product quality and compliance with specifications and regulations
- Coordinate with maintenance team to minimize downtime on packaging and machining equipment
- Manage inventory of packaging materials and cutting tools
- Prepare reports on production metrics and staff performance
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field
- At least 3 years of supervisory experience in packaging or a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in Mastercam CNC programming for 4-axis and 5-axis operations
- Strong knowledge of packaging machinery, processes, and quality control
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues on the production floor
- Solid understanding of workplace safety regulations and compliance
- Willingness to work in Pioneer, West Region
