We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Part-Time Lecturer to join our Civil and Environmental Engineering department. As a Lecturer, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality instruction to undergraduate students. You will be responsible for designing innovative curricula, conducting engaging lectures, and fostering a stimulating learning environment. Tanggung Jawab
- Deliver high-quality lectures, tutorials, and laboratory sessions for undergraduate Civil and Environmental Engineering courses.
- Develop, update, and prepare comprehensive course materials, including syllabi, lecture notes, and assessment tools.
- Mentor and supervise students on individual and group projects, providing guidance on technical and academic matters.
- Grade assignments, examinations, and projects, providing timely and constructive feedback to students.
- Participate in curriculum development and continuous improvement initiatives within the department.
- Engage in professional development activities to stay abreast of advancements in civil engineering and pedagogy.
Kualifikasi
- Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a closely related field. A PhD is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant industry experience in the civil or environmental sector.
- Proven experience in teaching or lecturing at the university level is highly desirable.
- Strong command of the English language with excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in industry-standard engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, STAAD Pro, MATLAB).
