In this role, you will be the creative force behind our dessert menu, responsible for crafting high-quality pastries and confections that delight our guests.

You will work closely with our culinary team to ensure consistency, presentation, and exceptional taste in every plate that leaves the kitchen.

Tanggung Jawab

  • Prepare, bake, and decorate a wide variety of high-quality pastries, cakes, tarts, and desserts.
  • Develop and innovate new dessert menu items based on seasonal availability and market trends.
  • Ensure all workstations are maintained according to strict health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
  • Manage inventory, monitor ingredient stocks, and coordinate orders to prevent wastage.
  • Collaborate with the head chef to maintain consistency in taste and visual presentation.
  • Assist in general kitchen support duties during peak operating hours.
  • Maintain equipment performance by following regular maintenance schedules and reporting repairs.

Kualifikasi

  • Proven professional experience as a Pastry Chef or Baker.
  • Certificate or Diploma in Culinary Arts, Pastry, or a related field is highly preferred.
  • Deep understanding of baking science, including pastry dough, creams, chocolate work, and glazing.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and creative flair for plating and presentation.
  • Strong knowledge of kitchen sanitation and food handling safety practices (HACCP).
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks in a hot kitchen environment.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to meet production deadlines consistently.
