Position: Pastry Chef

The Role:

Tanggung Jawab
- Lead, train, and supervise the pastry team to ensure efficient daily operations.
- Develop and execute high-quality pastry menus, desserts, and baked goods.
- Control food cost, inventory, and stock levels to minimize waste and maximize profitability.
- Ensure strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards (e.g., HACCP).
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef on menu engineering and special event planning.
- Drive creativity and innovation in pastry offerings to exceed guest expectations.
- Maintain all equipment and ensure the pastry kitchen meets safety regulations.
Kualifikasi
- At least 3-5 years of relevant experience as a Pastry Chef or Sous Chef in a high-volume establishment.
- Degree or Diploma in Pastry Arts, Culinary Science, or equivalent.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage a team.
- Excellent knowledge of baking techniques, pastry science, and dessert design.
- Creative flair with a passion for food trends and innovation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure.
- Strong financial acumen for budgeting and cost control.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
