- Prepare, bake, and decorate a variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods
- Develop new recipes and menu items that align with seasonal offerings and customer preferences
- Manage inventory of pastry ingredients and supplies, ensuring optimal freshness and quality
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards in all pastry preparation areas
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and service of desserts
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry kitchen and workstations
- Monitor pastry quality and presentation, making adjustments as necessary
- Train and mentor junior pastry staff on techniques and procedures
Kualifikasi
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef with expertise in hot kitchen operations
- Professional certification in pastry arts or culinary arts preferred
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment
- Excellent attention to detail and artistic presentation skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
