As our Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the pastry department, ensuring the highest standards of quality, presentation, and taste. You will have the opportunity to experiment with new flavors, develop unique dessert menus, and elevate the overall guest experience through your artisanal creations.
We are looking for a dedicated culinary professional who stays ahead of industry trends, maintains a pristine and organized workspace, and works collaboratively with our kitchen staff to deliver exceptional products consistently.
Tanggung Jawab
- Design and create high-quality pastry, dessert, and bakery product menus that align with company standards.
- Oversee daily pastry production to ensure consistency, flavor balance, and perfect presentation.
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and maintain optimal ingredient stock levels to minimize waste.
- Ensure compliance with strict food safety and hygiene regulations at all times.
- Innovate and experiment with new ingredients and techniques to keep the menu fresh and competitive.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff on pastry techniques and operational procedures.
- Maintain equipment in the pastry station and coordinate maintenance when necessary.
Kualifikasi
- Proven work experience as a Pastry Chef, Baker, or in a similar culinary role.
- Strong knowledge of dough preparation, pastry techniques, and dessert decoration.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
- Deep understanding of food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards (HACCP).
- Creative mindset with a passion for modern flavor profiles and aesthetic presentation.
- Strong communication and team-collaboration skills.
- Certification in Culinary Arts or related field is a strong plus.
