As a Pastry Commis Chef, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and production of high-quality pastries, desserts, and baked goods. Tanggung Jawab
- Assist in the preparation and production of pastries, desserts, and baked goods according to recipes and standards.
- Ensure consistency in taste, texture, and presentation across all pastry items.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.
- Support senior pastry chefs in daily operations and during busy periods.
- Monitor inventory of ingredients and communicate shortages to the head chef.
- Help in developing new recipes and improving existing ones under guidance.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations, including proper storage and handling of ingredients.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive kitchen culture.
Kualifikasi
- Certificate or diploma in Pastry Arts, Culinary Arts, or related field.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a pastry kitchen or bakery environment.
- Strong understanding of pastry techniques, ingredients, and equipment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and standards.
- Passion for pastry and a desire to grow in the profession.
