Your primary responsibility will be the preparation and production of a wide variety of high-quality pastries and baked goods. This includes breakfast pastries, laminated doughs, cakes, tarts, mousses, plated desserts, and specialty items for events and holidays. You will work closely with the Head Pastry Chef to maintain consistency and uphold our brand's reputation for excellence.

Tanggung Jawab
- Prepare, bake, and present a diverse range of pastries, breads, cakes, and desserts according to established recipes and quality standards.
- Assist the Head Pastry Chef in developing and testing new menu items and seasonal specials to continuously innovate our offerings.
- Ensure consistency, proper flavor, and exquisite visual presentation for all finished products.
- Manage inventory of pastry ingredients, monitor stock levels, and assist with ordering supplies from vendors.
- Maintain a meticulously clean, organized, and sanitized work station, adhering strictly to all health and safety regulations (HACCP).
- Operate and maintain kitchen equipment properly, including ovens, mixers, sheeters, and specialized pastry tools.
- Collaborate effectively with the broader culinary team to ensure seamless kitchen operations during peak service hours.
- Participate in training and mentoring junior kitchen staff on fundamental pastry techniques and best practices.
Kualifikasi
- Proven experience (2+ years preferred) as a Pastry Cook, Baker, or similar role in a high-volume restaurant, hotel, or artisanal bakery.
- Formal culinary education or a diploma in Pastry Arts is highly advantageous.
- Mastery of essential pastry techniques including doughs (laminated and non), creams, custards, mousses, ganaches, and sugar/chocolate work.
- Strong understanding of baking science, ingredient functionality, and flavor pairing.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Keen eye for detail and a relentless commitment to producing visually stunning and delicious products.
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required by the nature of the hospitality industry.
- Must be a resident of or willing to relocate to Taguig City, Metro Manila.
