Hai Soon Leong is seeking a skilled and innovative Pastry Production Chef to join our dynamic manufacturing team in Semenyih, Selangor. In this pivotal role, you will be the driving force behind our production line, responsible for planning, developing, and overseeing the creation of premium pastry and bakery products.
Your expertise will ensure that every item leaving our facility meets our rigorous standards of taste, presentation, and safety. You will lead the production kitchen, manage inventory, and mentor junior staff, ensuring operational efficiency while maintaining the highest levels of food hygiene and compliance with HACCP standards. Tanggung Jawab
- Plan and execute daily production schedules for pastry and bakery items.
- Develop new recipes and modify existing ones to improve quality and efficiency.
- Supervise and train production staff to ensure high performance and safety standards.
- Monitor ingredient stock levels and manage inventory to minimize waste.
- Ensure strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and HACCP regulations.
- Perform quality control checks on raw materials and finished products.
- Liaise with management regarding production targets and resource requirements.
Kualifikasi
- Certificate or Diploma in Pastry Arts, Baking, or Culinary Arts.
- Proven experience in a manufacturing or large-scale food production environment.
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and pastry production processes.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Valid Food Handler's Certificate (mandatory).
- Physically fit and able to work long hours on standing.
