Tanggung Jawab
- Lead and manage the daily operations of the pastry section, including baking, decorating, and assembling high-quality desserts.
- Develop innovative and seasonal pastry menus that align with current culinary trends and guest preferences.
- Supervise, train, and mentor pastry kitchen staff to ensure high performance and adherence to culinary standards.
- Monitor and control food costs, waste, and inventory levels to ensure profitability and efficiency.
- Maintain strict hygiene and safety standards (HACCP compliance) throughout the pastry kitchen and during service.
- Collaborate with the executive chef and front-of-house team to ensure seamless service and timely delivery of pastry items.
- Conduct regular quality checks on all pastry products before they reach the customer.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Certificate in Pastry Arts, Baking, or Culinary Arts from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques, cake decoration, and pastry production.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate a kitchen team.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and HACCP standards is highly desirable.
- Creative mindset with the ability to design visually appealing and delicious desserts.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
