Tanggung Jawab
- Prepare a variety of baked goods, including cakes, cookies, and pastries, according to standard recipes and quality guidelines.
- Assist the head pastry chef in decorating cakes and pastries to ensure they are visually appealing.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized work environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Monitor inventory levels of baking ingredients and supplies, reporting shortages to the management team.
- Operate kitchen equipment and machinery safely and efficiently.
- Ensure all products are labeled, dated, and stored correctly to maintain freshness.
- Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure timely service of desserts.
Kualifikasi
- Passion for baking and a strong understanding of pastry arts and dessert preparation.
- Previous experience in a kitchen or pastry environment is a plus, but enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Basic knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards.
- Physically fit to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks.
- Fluency in English is preferred.
