- Manage and follow up on patient account balances to ensure timely payment collection
- Process patient payments accurately and maintain detailed payment records
- Utilize eClinicalWorks (eCW) to access and update patient account information
- Communicate professionally with patients regarding outstanding balances and payment options
- Identify and resolve billing discrepancies through thorough investigation
- Document all collection activities and patient communications in compliance with healthcare regulations
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to resolve complex billing issues
- Meet or exceed monthly collection targets and performance metrics
Kualifikasi
- Previous experience in patient collections, medical billing, or healthcare administration preferred
- Proficiency in eClinicalWorks (eCW) or similar electronic health record systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a remote environment
- Knowledge of healthcare billing regulations and insurance processes
- Problem-solving skills to address complex billing issues and patient concerns
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in healthcare administration is a plus
