Tanggung Jawab
- Manage frontline patient registration and ensure all personal and insurance data is entered accurately into the hospital system.
- Coordinate closely with nursing and medical staff to facilitate smooth patient flow and minimize waiting times in the Emergency Department.
- Provide financial counseling to patients and their families regarding estimated hospital bills, subsidies, and payment modes.
- Process payments, handle billing inquiries, and manage daily cash collections with high accuracy.
- Attend to walk-in and phone inquiries, providing clear and helpful information about hospital services and procedures.
- Assist in managing patient records and ensuring all documentation is handled in compliance with data protection and confidentiality regulations.
- De-escalate challenging situations and manage patient expectations during peak hours or high-stress periods.
- Perform general administrative duties and support the department in maintaining a clean and welcoming reception area.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum GCE 'N', 'O', or 'A' Levels; a Diploma in any discipline is an advantage.
- Prior experience in frontline customer service, hospitality, or healthcare administration is highly preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with proficiency in English and a second language being a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and the ability to learn hospital-specific software quickly.
- Willingness to work on a 3-shift rotation, including weekends and public holidays.
- A strong sense of empathy and a genuine desire to assist patients and their families.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
