PT Merge Mining Industry is a rapidly growing player in the Indonesian mining sector, committed to operational excellence, safety, and sustainable resource management. We are currently seeking a highly qualified and experienced Penanggung Jawab Operasional (PJO) to lead our mining operations in Sungai Pinang, Kalimantan Selatan.
As the PJO, you will be the key person responsible for ensuring that all mining activities are conducted in strict compliance with Indonesian mining regulations (Kaidah Teknik Pertambangan yang Baik). You will oversee production targets, maintain high safety standards, and lead our site operational team to achieve peak efficiency while managing environmental impacts responsibly.

Tanggung Jawab
- Ensure all mining operations comply with government regulations (Kepmen ESDM) and internal safety standards (K3 Pertambangan).
- Lead and supervise the daily mining operational activities to meet or exceed production targets.
- Manage the effective utilization of heavy equipment and operational infrastructure to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with the safety department to conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
- Oversee the preparation and implementation of the Mine Plan and budget to ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Mentor and develop the technical capabilities of site staff and contractors.
- Act as the primary point of contact for external stakeholders, including government inspectors and regulatory bodies.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mining Engineering or related field.
- Must possess a valid POP (Pengawas Operasional Pertama) or POM (Pengawas Operasional Madya) certification.
- Minimum of 5-8 years of professional experience in mining operations, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
- In-depth knowledge of Indonesian mining laws, safety regulations, and environmental management.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage diverse teams in remote site locations.
- Proficiency in mining software (e.g., Surpac, Minescape, or Xpac) is a significant advantage.
- Willing to be based in Sungai Pinang, Kalimantan Selatan.
