We are seeking a highly skilled Petroleum or Mechanical Engineer to join our team as a Loss Adjuster. In this critical role, you will represent the insurer by conducting comprehensive investigations into insurance claims related to natural resources, industrial machinery, and energy assets.
Your engineering background will be the foundation of your work as you assess damages, evaluate repair costs, and determine liability. You will travel to various sites to inspect equipment, infrastructure, and environmental conditions, ensuring that every claim is handled with precision, technical accuracy, and fairness. Tanggung Jawab
- Conduct thorough on-site inspections of insured assets, machinery, and natural resources to evaluate damage and loss.
- Analyze technical data and engineering specifications to determine the cause and extent of damage.
- Prepare detailed, accurate reports and cost estimates for insurance claims.
- Liaise effectively with clients, policyholders, and third-party contractors to gather necessary information.
- Assist in the negotiation and settlement of claims, ensuring fair outcomes for all parties.
- Monitor industry trends and regulations related to natural resources and mechanical engineering.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements during the claims process.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a technical role within the insurance or loss adjusting industry is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of natural resources, mining, or energy sector operations.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex engineering data.
- Valid Indonesian Driver's License (SIM A) and willingness to travel to various project sites.
- Professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
