- Conduct comprehensive physical failure analysis on semiconductor devices using microscopy, electrical testing, and material characterization techniques
- Identify root causes of product failures through systematic investigation and data analysis
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions and prevent recurrence
- Document detailed failure analysis reports with clear findings, recommendations, and preventive measures
- Support new product introduction by analyzing early-life failures and providing design feedback
- Develop and optimize failure analysis methodologies and equipment calibration protocols
- Mentor junior engineers on best practices in failure analysis and quality engineering
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or related field; Master's preferred
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on failure analysis experience in semiconductor manufacturing
- Proficiency in analytical tools including SEM, TEM, FIB, and electrical characterization systems
- Strong understanding of semiconductor device physics, fabrication processes, and yield improvement methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
- Experience with statistical analysis tools and quality management systems (ISO 9001)
- Effective communication skills for presenting technical findings to diverse stakeholders
