Tanggung Jawab
- Dispense prescribed medications accurately and provide comprehensive patient counseling on usage, dosage, and potential side effects
- Monitor medication interactions and contraindications to ensure patient safety and therapeutic efficacy
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize drug therapies and develop treatment plans
- Maintain accurate pharmaceutical records and inventory management systems
- Stay updated on pharmaceutical regulations, new medications, and industry best practices
- Conduct health screenings and provide immunization services when applicable
- Mentor pharmacy technicians and support staff to maintain high operational standards
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (BPharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited institution
- Valid registration with the Malaysian Pharmacy Board
- Current practicing license in good standing
- Minimum 2 years of hospital or retail pharmacy experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical compounding and sterile preparations
- Excellent communication skills with ability to convey complex medical information clearly
- Proficiency in pharmacy management systems and electronic health records
