As a Photonics Engineer, you will bridge the gap between advanced optical physics and scalable manufacturing. You will be responsible for designing micro-optical elements, simulating laser propagation, and optimizing fabrication processes to ensure maximum yield and reliability. Collaborating with global cross-functional engineering teams, you will play a pivotal role in bringing innovative photonic products from concept to mass production.

Tanggung Jawab
- Design, simulate, and optimize photonics devices, optical systems, and laser-based sub-assemblies.
- Conduct optical modeling and simulations using industry-standard software (e.g., Lumerical, Zemax, or MATLAB).
- Develop, set up, and execute optical characterization and testing protocols for photonic integrated circuits (PICs).
- Collaborate with the manufacturing and process engineering teams to transition optical designs into high-yield mass production.
- Perform root cause analysis and failure analysis on optical components and implement corrective actions.
- Document design specifications, testing procedures, and engineering reports in compliance with quality standards.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and standards in photonics and optoelectronics.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Photonics, Physics, Optical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2-4 years of hands-on experience in photonics design, laser systems, or optical manufacturing.
- Proficiency in optical simulation and design tools such as Zemax, Lumerical, Comsol, or similar software.
- Strong understanding of semiconductor physics, silicon photonics, fiber optics, and optoelectronic packaging.
- Experience with optical laboratory equipment including optical spectrum analyzers, tunable lasers, and power meters.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with a methodical approach to failure analysis and process optimization.
- Strong communication and collaborative skills to work effectively in a cross-functional MNC environment.
