Tanggung Jawab
- Perform comprehensive physical assessments and formulate evidence-based treatment plans for inpatients and outpatients.
- Conduct manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and electrotherapy modalities to promote healing and mobility.
- Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs and injury prevention techniques.
- Monitor patient progress, document findings accurately in clinical records, and adjust treatment protocols as necessary.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists to ensure holistic patient recovery.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and safety within the physiotherapy unit in accordance with hospital protocols.
- Provide clinical mentorship and support to junior staff or physiotherapy students during rotations.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy from a recognized institution.
- Must possess a valid Annual Practicing Certificate (APC) from the Malaysian Physiotherapy Association (MPA).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or private practice setting preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate empathetically with diverse patient groups.
- Proven ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.
- Proficiency in both English and Bahasa Malaysia is highly preferred to facilitate clear patient communication.
