As a Piping Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, analysis, and delivery of safe and efficient piping systems.
In this position, you will leverage your technical expertise to produce detailed piping designs, perform stress analysis, and ensure compliance with international codes and standards. You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to integrate piping systems seamlessly into overall project plans. This role also provides a pathway to leadership; you may serve as a Lead Piping Engineer on smaller projects or as a Sub-Lead on larger initiatives, guiding junior team members and driving project success.

Tanggung Jawab
- Design and develop piping systems in accordance with project specifications and industry standards.
- Perform pipe stress analysis using Caesar II to ensure system reliability and safety.
- Prepare and review piping drawings, isometrics, and material take-offs.
- Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to integrate piping designs with structural, mechanical, and electrical systems.
- Serve as Lead Piping Engineer on smaller projects or Sub-Lead on larger projects, overseeing design teams and ensuring quality delivery.
- Conduct site inspections and support construction activities to verify installation compliance.
- Participate in project reviews, risk assessments, and value engineering initiatives.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in piping engineering, with demonstrated leadership skills.
- Proficiency in pipe stress analysis software (Caesar II) and AutoCAD.
- In-depth knowledge of ASME, ANSI, and API codes.
- Experience in the oil & gas, petrochemical, or power sectors preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional Engineer (PE) registration is advantageous.
