Join Westports as a Planned Preventive Maintenance Engineer and become a key guardian of port infrastructure excellence. This critical role ensures the uninterrupted operation of rotating machinery and heavy equipment in one of Asia's busiest ports. You will implement sophisticated maintenance protocols, optimize equipment reliability, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Tanggung Jawab
- Execute planned preventive maintenance schedules for rotating equipment including cranes, conveyors, and port machinery
- Diagnose mechanical failures using vibration analysis, thermography, and predictive maintenance techniques
- Overhaul critical components and maintain comprehensive maintenance documentation
- Coordinate with operations teams to schedule maintenance during optimal port operational windows
- Implement reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) principles and continuous improvement programs
- Manage spare parts inventory and procurement for maintenance activities
- Ensure compliance with ISO 55001 and port safety regulations
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field
- Minimum 3 years' experience in heavy equipment maintenance within ports or industrial settings
- Certification in predictive maintenance technologies (vibration analysis, ultrasound) preferred
- Proficiency in CMMS systems (SAP PM, Maximo) and maintenance planning software
- Strong knowledge of rotating machinery principles and failure analysis
- Experience implementing ISO 55001 asset management standards
- Valid Malaysian Class 3 Driving License and forklift certification
- Ability to work in shift schedules and respond to emergency breakdowns
