Moog Controls Corporation is a worldwide leader in high-performance motion control solutions serving the aerospace, defense, and industrial sectors. Our facility in Baguio City, Benguet is a critical hub for our global manufacturing operations. We are currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Planner/Buyer to join our dynamic supply chain team and drive material availability for our production lines.
In this integral role, you will be responsible for the strategic coordination and placement of purchase orders for a designated group of suppliers to achieve site operational requirements. You will act as the central link between internal stakeholdersâincluding Production, Engineering, and Qualityâand our global network of suppliers. Your expertise will ensure that materials are procured at the highest quality, lowest cost, and optimal delivery schedules.
As a key contributor, you will analyze MRP data, manage inventory levels, negotiate contracts, and monitor supplier performance to support continuous improvement initiatives. Tanggung Jawab
- Coordinate and place purchase orders with designated suppliers to meet site operational requirements and production schedules.
- Analyze Material Requirements Planning (MRP) data and inventory levels to generate accurate purchase requisitions and ensure optimal stock levels.
- Manage supplier relationships, negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules to optimize total cost of ownership and lead times.
- Monitor supplier performance against key metrics (quality, cost, delivery) and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Production Planning, Engineering, and Quality Assurance teams to resolve material shortages and support new product introductions.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, purchase orders, item masters, and supplier databases within the ERP system.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement and cost-saving opportunities within the procurement and supply chain processes.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelorâs Degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- At least 2â3 years of relevant experience in procurement, buying, or materials planning within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships with suppliers and internal teams.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Solid understanding of supply chain principles, inventory management, and MRP logic.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail, with a commitment to data integrity.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset.
