Leo Ceramiko, a thriving ceramics manufacturer, is seeking a meticulous and proactive Planner/Import Executive to join our dynamic team in Klang. In this critical role, you will be the heartbeat of our international procurement activities, ensuring the seamless flow of raw materials and finished goods through Port Klang.
As our Planner/Import Executive, you will take ownership of the full import cycle, from coordinating with international suppliers and freight forwarders to managing documentation, customs compliance, and inland logistics. You will bridge the gap between production demand and supply chain reality, ensuring that our manufacturing lines remain productive and efficient. We are looking for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced logistics environment and possesses the problem-solving skills to navigate complex regulatory requirements.
Tanggung Jawab
- Manage the end-to-end import process, including coordinating with overseas suppliers, shipping agents, and local transporters.
- Review and verify all shipping documentation (BL, Invoices, Packing Lists) for accuracy and compliance with customs regulations.
- Coordinate with local authorities and customs brokers to facilitate timely clearance of shipments through Port Klang.
- Plan and monitor arrival schedules to ensure raw materials align with production planning requirements.
- Troubleshoot logistics bottlenecks and resolve delivery discrepancies promptly to minimize operational downtime.
- Maintain an organized database of import costs, freight rates, and supplier performance metrics.
- Prepare periodic reports on import status, inventory levels, and logistics expenditure for management review.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of proven experience in import/export operations or manufacturing planning.
- Deep understanding of Malaysian Customs procedures, HS codes, and trade compliance.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/Inventory management software.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English and Malay.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to manage time-sensitive tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of ceramic industry supply chains is considered a distinct advantage.
