Munchy's, one of Malaysia's leading snack manufacturers, is looking for a dynamic Planning Manager to join our team in Batu Pahat, Johor. In this critical leadership role, you will be the architect of our production efficiency, ensuring that our resources are optimized to meet the high demand for our iconic snacks.
As the Planning Manager, you will lead the end-to-end production planning process, balancing capacity constraints with inventory goals. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including procurement, warehouse, and operations, to drive continuous improvement initiatives. We are looking for a data-driven professional who can transform complex supply chain challenges into streamlined, actionable production schedules. Tanggung Jawab
- Develop and execute comprehensive production plans to maximize resource utilization and equipment efficiency.
- Coordinate with procurement and material control teams to ensure raw material availability matches production demand.
- Monitor production KPIs, including OEE and adherence to schedules, and implement corrective actions for variances.
- Lead Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings to align production outputs with market demand forecasts.
- Drive inventory optimization initiatives to minimize stock-outs while reducing carrying costs.
- Analyze manufacturing bottlenecks and propose technology or process improvements to increase throughput.
- Manage and mentor a team of production planners to ensure operational excellence across all shifts.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in production planning, preferably within the FMCG or food manufacturing sector.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced knowledge of MS Excel for data analytics.
- Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Just-in-Time (JIT) production principles.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills in English and Malay.
- Ability to thrive in a high-pressure manufacturing environment with shifting priorities.
- Proven leadership experience managing teams and driving organizational change.
