Join SHB Malaysia Automotive Appliance Sdn Bhd as a Planning & Material Control Assistant Manager/Manager and drive operational excellence in our dynamic manufacturing environment. This critical role requires strategic oversight of material flow, inventory optimization, and production planning to ensure seamless manufacturing operations. You'll lead cross-functional teams in resolving supply chain disruptions, implement continuous improvement methodologies, and align material control strategies with business objectives. The position demands proactive problem-solving using 8D methodology, KPI-driven performance management, and collaboration with manufacturing, procurement, and logistics departments. As a key stakeholder in our supply chain ecosystem, you'll contribute to cost reduction initiatives, enhance production efficiency, and maintain optimal inventory levels while ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee daily planning and material control operations across manufacturing lines
- Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies to optimize stock turnover
- Lead 8D problem-solving initiatives for material and production abnormalities
- Develop and maintain production schedules aligned with demand forecasts
- Analyze KPIs to identify improvement opportunities in material flow
- Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely material availability
- Prepare management reports on inventory accuracy and production efficiency
- Mentor junior staff and implement continuous improvement projects
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in planning and material control within manufacturing
- Proven expertise in 8D problem-solving methodology
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Certification in production planning or inventory management preferred
- Leadership experience in cross-functional teams
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools
- Understanding of automotive industry supply chain dynamics
