We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Plant Electrical Engineer to join our plant facility in Putatan, Muntinlupa City.
Job Overview:
The Plant Electrical Engineer plays a critical role in ensuring the continuous operation, reliability, and safety of the electrical systems that power our water treatment and distribution facilities. You will lead maintenance initiatives, troubleshoot complex electrical issues, and drive process improvements to minimize downtime and optimize plant performance. Tanggung Jawab
- Supervise and coordinate the installation, maintenance, and repair of high and low voltage electrical equipment, including switchgears, transformers, and motor control centers (MCCs).
- Lead troubleshooting efforts for electrical system failures, performing root cause analysis to prevent recurrence and enhance equipment reliability.
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve preventive and predictive maintenance programs for all plant electrical assets.
- Design and manage small-to-medium electrical engineering projects, including system upgrades, retrofits, and capacity expansions, ensuring adherence to technical specifications and budget.
- Ensure strict compliance with the Philippine Electrical Code, safety standards (OSHA/COSH), and environmental regulations.
- Monitor electrical consumption data, prepare technical reports, and recommend energy-saving initiatives to improve plant efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to electrical technicians and maintenance staff.
Kualifikasi
- Must be a Licensed Electrical Engineer (REE), a graduate of B.S. Electrical Engineering.
- At least 2-5 years of relevant experience in industrial plant electrical maintenance and operations, preferably in water treatment, power generation, or a heavy industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, PLCs, SCADA systems, and variable frequency drives (VFDs).
- Proficient in using electrical testing equipment (meggers, power quality analyzers, relay test sets).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a proactive approach to maintenance management.
- Willing to be assigned in Putatan, Muntinlupa City and work on shifting schedules or extended hours during emergencies.
