Soliman Ecowaste Management Corporation is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Pollution Control Officer / Environmental Officer to join our team in Mexico, Pampanga. In this role, you will be the cornerstone of our environmental compliance efforts, ensuring that our operations not only meet but exceed local regulatory standards.
As our Pollution Control Officer, you will oversee the critical lifecycle of hazardous wasteāfrom segregation and labeling to secure storage and transport. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining accurate chemical inventories and ensuring that our facility operates with the highest commitment to environmental stewardship. Tanggung Jawab
- Supervise the end-to-end process of hazardous waste management, including segregation, proper labeling, storage, and safe transport.
- Maintain precise and up-to-date chemical inventories in compliance with DENR and other regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential environmental risks and implement corrective actions.
- Prepare and submit mandatory environmental reports to government agencies (e.g., SMR, CMR).
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure waste disposal protocols are strictly followed.
- Monitor and analyze waste output to suggest improvements in environmental performance and efficiency.
- Participate in audits and ensure the facility remains audit-ready at all times.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelorās Degree in Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Valid PCO (Pollution Control Officer) accreditation from the DENR-EMB is highly preferred.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in hazardous waste management or environmental safety.
- In-depth knowledge of Philippine environmental laws and DENR regulations.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data management and reporting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to lead safety initiatives effectively.
- High attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment.
