PERSOL is seeking a highly organized Port Operations Coordinator to oversee the coordination and management of end-to-end vessel and terminal activities. In this key role, you will ensure that all port activities are efficient, safe, and strictly on schedule.
As a coordinator, you will act as the primary point of contact between shipping lines, terminal operators, and internal stakeholders. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining operational continuity and optimizing workflow processes within our Pasir Panjang facility. Tanggung Jawab
- Coordinate and oversee the scheduling and handling of vessels to ensure timely berthing and turnaround.
- Monitor terminal operations to guarantee strict adherence to safety protocols and regulatory standards.
- Liaise effectively with shipping agents, customs officials, and internal logistics teams to facilitate smooth cargo movements.
- Manage and verify all necessary documentation, including bills of lading and shipping manifests.
- Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks to maximize terminal efficiency and throughput.
- Communicate critical updates and instructions to relevant personnel during peak operational periods.
- Conduct regular inspections of port facilities and equipment to maintain a safe working environment.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in port operations, terminal management, or logistics coordination.
- Degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Maritime Studies, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of shipping terms, customs procedures, and port regulations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on clarity and precision.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt quickly to changing operational requirements.
- Proficiency in using logistics management software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Valid forklift or heavy machinery operation certification is a strong advantage.
