Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee and execute aircraft engine maintenance, overhaul, and repair tasks in strict accordance with manufacturer specifications and airworthiness directives.
- Perform detailed inspections and diagnostics to identify mechanical issues, ensuring all engines meet regulatory safety standards.
- Lead and mentor a team of maintenance technicians, providing technical guidance and fostering a culture of precision and safety.
- Coordinate closely with engineering teams to troubleshoot complex engine problems and implement effective, efficient solutions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date technical records, logs, and reports for all maintenance activities performed.
- Ensure all tools, test equipment, and machinery are properly calibrated and maintained for optimal performance.
- Monitor inventory levels of critical engine components and coordinate procurement to minimize downtime.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Proven experience as a Powerplant Engineer or Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) in the commercial aviation sector.
- Valid AME License (Category B2 or C1 preferred) issued by the relevant aviation authority.
- In-depth knowledge of aircraft engine systems, including turbofans, turboprops, and auxiliary power units (APUs).
- Strong understanding of aviation regulations (e.g., DCA, EASA, FAA) and maintenance standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail in high-pressure situations.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as required by operational needs.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic software and maintenance management systems.
