NCS Philippines is seeking a strategic and results-driven Practice Lead – Quality Engineering to spearhead our QE transformation initiatives. In this pivotal role, you will be the architect of our quality strategy, defining the standards, frameworks, and tools that empower our teams to deliver high-performance, scalable, and resilient digital solutions for our global clients.
As the Practice Lead, you will sit at the intersection of technology, process, and people. You will be responsible for scaling the QE practice, mentoring high-performing engineering teams, and embedding automation-first mindsets into our delivery lifecycle. Tanggung Jawab
- Define and execute the strategic roadmap for the Quality Engineering practice across the organization.
- Champion the shift-left approach, integrating automated testing and continuous quality assurance throughout the SDLC.
- Design and implement scalable test automation frameworks for web, mobile, and cloud-native applications.
- Act as a thought leader, providing mentorship and professional development for QE engineers and managers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to drive process improvements and enhance software reliability.
- Govern quality metrics, KPIs, and reporting to provide visibility into project health and delivery performance.
- Stay at the forefront of emerging testing technologies, AI-driven quality tools, and industry best practices.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in Quality Engineering or Software Testing, with at least 5 years in a leadership or practice-head role.
- Deep expertise in modern test automation stacks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Appium, RestAssured).
- Solid understanding of CI/CD pipeline integration (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
- Proven experience in building QE centers of excellence (CoE) and transforming manual testing cultures.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Certification in relevant areas (ISTQB, Agile, or DevOps) is a significant advantage.
