Greyform is a leader in innovative precast solutions, and we are currently seeking a detail-oriented Precast Design Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team in Kaki Bukit. In this role, you will be instrumental in the end-to-end design process of high-quality precast concrete components, ensuring structural integrity, constructability, and adherence to rigorous safety standards.
As a key member of our technical department, you will collaborate closely with architects, project managers, and production teams to transform complex blueprints into efficient precast structural elements. Tanggung Jawab
- Prepare detailed structural design drawings and calculations for precast concrete components.
- Collaborate with clients and project consultants to finalize design specifications and resolve technical discrepancies.
- Ensure all designs comply with relevant Singapore building codes, BCA regulations, and safety standards.
- Develop detailed shop drawings, reinforcement schedules, and lifting designs for production.
- Coordinate with the production and quality control teams to ensure designs are effectively translated into manufactured products.
- Conduct site visits to monitor installation and provide technical support as required.
- Utilize BIM software to enhance design accuracy and integration with existing project workflows.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation and technical records.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 1-3 years of relevant experience in structural design, preferably within the precast concrete industry.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with 3D modeling or BIM software (e.g., Revit, Tekla) is highly advantageous.
- Strong understanding of structural analysis principles and reinforced concrete design.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as within a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Familiarity with local building codes, such as Eurocodes or SS standards.
