We are seeking an exceptional Preclinical Programme Leader to spearhead discovery and preclinical development of next-generation RNA therapeutics for cardiovascular and metabolic diseases. As part of A*STAR's dynamic research ecosystem, you will lead cross-functional teams, design and execute translational strategies, and leverage advanced in vitro and in vivo models to advance novel candidates into clinical development.

Tanggung Jawab
- Lead preclinical development strategy for RNA therapeutic programs targeting cardiometabolic diseases.
- Design, manage, and interpret in vitro and in vivo pharmacology, efficacy, and safety studies.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including molecular biologists, pharmacologists, and clinicians.
- Manage timelines, budgets, and external CROs to ensure timely delivery of milestones.
- Prepare regulatory documents (IND/CTA) and support interactions with health authorities.
- Present scientific data to internal stakeholders and at external conferences.
- Mentor and develop junior scientists and research associates.
- Contribute to portfolio strategy and identify new therapeutic opportunities.
Kualifikasi
- PhD in Pharmacology, Biological Sciences, or a related field with 8+ years of industry experience in preclinical drug development.
- Proven track record of advancing therapeutics from discovery to clinical stages.
- Deep expertise in RNA therapeutics or nucleic acid-based modalities.
- Strong understanding of cardiovascular and metabolic disease biology.
- Experience in leading cross-functional project teams.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and GLP/GCP standards.
