Are you a passionate educator with a flair for Mandarin language instruction? Saint Monica Jakarta School is seeking a dynamic and creative Preschool Teacher to join our intercultural team in Serang. We are committed to fostering a global mindset in our youngest learners through immersive, play-based education.
In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the early educational journey of our students. You will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging Mandarin language lessons that integrate cultural perspectives, ensuring that every child thrives in a nurturing and multilingual environment. Tanggung Jawab
- Develop and implement age-appropriate, play-based lesson plans with a focus on Mandarin language acquisition.
- Create an immersive and stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity and intercultural awareness.
- Monitor and document student progress, providing regular feedback to parents regarding developmental milestones.
- Integrate global perspectives and cultural themes into daily classroom activities.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to maintain a cohesive, supportive school community.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, ensuring a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning space.
- Participate in school events, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development sessions.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Mandarin Literature, or a related field.
- Proven fluency in Mandarin (HSK 5/6 certification is highly preferred).
- Strong proficiency in English and/or Indonesian for effective communication with parents and staff.
- Previous experience working in a preschool or kindergarten setting.
- A creative approach to teaching with a deep understanding of early childhood pedagogy.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in an intercultural school environment.
- Passionate about student-centered learning and early language development.
