Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for maritime logistics and dynamic market analysis? CMA CGM, a world leader in shipping and logistics, is seeking a motivated Pricing Analyst, Intra-Asia to join our high-performing team in Singapore. In this role, you will report directly to the Deputy Line Manager and play a pivotal role in optimizing our commercial performance across the Intra-Asia trade lanes.
As a Pricing Analyst, you will be the bridge between market fluctuations and our commercial strategy. You will analyze freight rate trends, monitor competitor activities, and collaborate with regional teams to ensure that our service offerings remain competitive while maximizing profitability. Tanggung Jawab
- Manage and maintain competitive freight pricing strategies for assigned Intra-Asia trade services.
- Monitor market trends, competitor pricing, and trade volumes to identify growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with regional commercial teams to implement yield management strategies and achieve revenue targets.
- Analyze weekly performance data to report on cargo mix, profitability, and utilization rates to management.
- Maintain and update pricing systems to ensure accuracy of quotes and contractual terms.
- Conduct regular review meetings with sales teams to refine market positioning and address client needs.
- Assist the Deputy Line Manager in forecasting and budget preparation for relevant trade lanes.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Maritime Studies, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience in pricing, trade management, or commercial operations within the shipping/logistics industry.
- Strong analytical mindset with proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data modeling).
- Demonstrated ability to interpret large datasets and translate them into actionable business insights.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with multicultural teams.
- Proactive problem-solving abilities and capacity to thrive under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with container shipping economics and Intra-Asia market dynamics is highly preferred.
