Are you an aspiring Actuarial or Finance professional looking to jumpstart your career in the insurance industry? Sequis Life, one of Indonesia's leading life insurance companies, is seeking a highly analytical and motivated Pricing Intern to join our dynamic Actuarial team in Jakarta.
In this role, you will gain hands-on experience by supporting critical pricing modeling projects, performing best estimate cash flow analysis, and ensuring the technical integrity of our Individual Life and MRI pricing products. You will work alongside seasoned actuaries and gain exposure to the core processes that drive the financial health of our organization. This is an excellent opportunity for a student or fresh graduate to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world insurance pricing scenarios.
Tanggung Jawab
- Assist in the development and maintenance of pricing models for Individual Life and MRI products.
- Conduct best estimate cash flow analysis to support product pricing and profitability studies.
- Execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new pricing systems and product enhancements to ensure accuracy.
- Support the team in preparing actuarial documentation and reports for stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and validate input parameters.
- Assist in performing sensitivity analysis to assess the impact of various economic and demographic assumptions.
- Monitor and analyze market trends to provide insights for competitive pricing strategies.
Kualifikasi
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or Finance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VBA/Macros knowledge is a significant advantage).
- Basic understanding of actuarial concepts and insurance products (Life/MRI).
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and meet project deadlines.
- Strong command of both written and spoken English and Indonesian.
- Availability for a full-time or extended part-time internship duration.
