As a Prime Mover Driver, you will be responsible for transporting containers and cargoes efficiently while maintaining professional standards of road safety and vehicle maintenance. You will work closely with our experienced traffic control team to ensure that all deliveries are executed on schedule, supporting our mission to provide top-tier logistics services to our clients.
Tanggung Jawab
- Operate prime movers and trailers safely to transport containers and heavy cargo to various locations across Singapore.
- Maintain constant and clear radio communication with the traffic control team for real-time dispatch instructions.
- Ensure the timely arrival for the collection and delivery of import and export cargoes at designated terminals.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure all safety and mechanical standards are met.
- Adhere strictly to port regulations (PSA/Jurong Port) and all internal company safety protocols.
- Accurately complete all delivery documentation, trip sheets, and logbooks in a timely manner.
- Report any vehicle defects, accidents, or delays immediately to the Operations Supervisor.
- Maintain the cleanliness and basic upkeep of the assigned prime mover.
Kualifikasi
- Possess a valid Singapore Class 4 or Class 5 Driving License.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of proven experience as a Prime Mover Driver or in a similar heavy vehicle role.
- Strong familiarity with Singapore's road networks and port operations (PSA/Jurong Port).
- Excellent punctuality and a strong sense of responsibility toward delivery schedules.
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with the dispatch and traffic control teams.
- Clean driving record with no major traffic violations or safety incidents.
- Ability to work flexible hours or overtime based on operational requirements.
