Join the prestigious Kuok Group as a Principal Engineer, Electrical and lead the development of critical power and automation designs. In this key role, you will independently manage complex engineering tasks, ensuring all designs strictly comply with Class and Technical specification requirements while adhering to strict project timelines. We are looking for a visionary leader who can drive technical excellence and innovation within our engineering team, contributing to large-scale infrastructure and industrial projects.
As a Principal Engineer, you will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of electrical engineering solutions. Your expertise will ensure that our systems are not only efficient and reliable but also meet the highest industry standards. You will work closely with stakeholders to define technical requirements and deliver solutions that enhance operational performance and safety.
Tanggung Jawab
- Independently develop comprehensive power and automation design solutions from concept to completion.
- Ensure strict compliance with Class (DNV/ABS) and Technical specification requirements for all engineering deliverables.
- Manage project schedules and deliverables effectively to ensure milestones are met within assigned timeframes.
- Review and validate technical documentation, calculations, and drawings for accuracy and quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers and other engineers, to optimize system performance.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the development of technical best practices and standards.
- Conduct technical risk assessments and propose mitigation strategies for electrical system challenges.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum of 10 years of proven experience in electrical power systems and automation engineering.
- In-depth knowledge and practical application of Class (DNV/ABS) and general Technical specifications.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design software such as AutoCAD, ETAP, PLS-CADD, or equivalent.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to lead multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical reporting and stakeholder engagement.
- Valid Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
