We are exclusively representing a premier engineering organization in their search for a high-caliber Principal Engineer to lead the Integrated Product Engineering (IPE) discipline in Kuala Lumpur. This is a pivotal leadership role demanding a strategic thinker who can consolidate technical know-how, champion process safety, and drive value engineering.
As the foremost technical authority for the IPE department, you will spearhead knowledge management, transforming scattered expertise into structured, scalable best practices that underpin every major project. Your core mandate involves proposing and implementing safe, innovative engineering solutions that demonstrably optimize costs while proactively managing technical and operational risks. This position offers a direct line of sight to executive leadership, where your strategic input will shape project governance, engineering standards, and long-term technical roadmaps.

Tanggung Jawab
- Lead the technical strategy and execution of multi-disciplinary IPE projects.
- Consolidate and continuously enhance the body of knowledge for the IPE discipline.
- Champion safety and innovation, proposing cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
- Conduct rigorous risk assessments (e.g., HAZOP, HAZID, QRA) and lead mitigation strategies.
- Establish and enforce engineering standards, procedures, and best practices.
- Mentor and develop a team of engineers, fostering a culture of technical growth and excellence.
- Evaluate new technologies and engineering tools to drive efficiency and competitive advantage.
- Collaborate with project management to align engineering deliverables with project milestones.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering. Master's or PhD is highly regarded.
- Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in engineering, with at least 5 years in a Principal or Senior Technical Lead capacity.
- Deep expertise in Integrated Product Engineering, Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), or equivalent process engineering.
- Extensive experience with cost estimation, value engineering, and project cost control.
- Proven track record of delivering complex projects safely, on time, and on budget.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence diverse stakeholders.
- Registered Professional Engineer (PE/CEPT/IR) or equivalent certified status is mandatory.
