Micron Semiconductors is seeking a Principal Engineer for Process Development (Wet) to join our elite team in Singapore. In this pivotal role, you will be at the forefront of NAND memory innovation, translating complex process challenges into robust, high-yield manufacturing solutions.

As a Principal Engineer, you will lead the development and optimization of wet chemical processes, influencing technology roadmaps for next-generation 3D NAND architecture. You will collaborate with global R&D and manufacturing teams to push the boundaries of materials engineering, contamination control, and process stability. If you possess a deep passion for semiconductor process excellence and a track record of driving process maturity in a high-volume manufacturing (HVM) environment, we want to hear from you.

Tanggung Jawab

  • Lead the research, development, and qualification of advanced wet process modules for next-generation NAND technology nodes.
  • Drive continuous improvement projects to optimize yield, cycle time, and cost-of-ownership (CoO) for wet chemical equipment.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Equipment, Integration, and Yield Enhancement teams to troubleshoot complex process excursions.
  • Define and implement robust process control strategies, including statistical process control (SPC) and fault detection/classification (FDC) methodologies.
  • Mentor junior and senior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation within the process development group.
  • Act as the primary technical point of contact for external equipment vendors to drive process capability enhancements.
  • Manage the documentation and standardization of wet process procedures to ensure consistency across the fab.

Kualifikasi

  • PhD or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or a related Semiconductor Engineering discipline.
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in wet process development or integration within a high-volume semiconductor manufacturing fab.
  • Deep technical expertise in wet etch, cleaning, and chemical mechanical planarization (CMP) technologies as applied to NAND memory.
  • Proven ability to lead complex technical projects and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strong background in statistical data analysis and design of experiments (DOE) to optimize process windows.
  • Experience with advanced semiconductor manufacturing tools (e.g., TEL, LAM, Applied Materials) is highly preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical data to both leadership and technical peers.
