Micron Semiconductors is seeking a Principal Engineer, SSD Validation to join our elite engineering team in Singapore. In this high-visibility role, you will act as the technical architect for our end-to-end SSD firmware validation strategy, ensuring our next-generation storage solutions meet the most rigorous quality and performance standards in the industry.

Tanggung Jawab
- Architect and implement comprehensive, end-to-end SSD firmware validation strategies for high-performance enterprise and client SSDs.
- Lead the development and enhancement of advanced automation test frameworks to accelerate validation cycles and improve product reliability.
- Conduct deep-dive root cause analysis on complex firmware defects, collaborating closely with development teams to implement sustainable fixes.
- Define and refine validation metrics, ensuring high-quality test coverage that aligns with industry standards and customer requirements.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to validation engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with global firmware and hardware architects to influence design-for-testability (DFT) improvements during early development phases.
- Represent the validation organization in technical reviews, providing insights that impact architectural decisions and project timelines.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
- 10+ years of experience in SSD firmware validation, storage software engineering, or related embedded systems domains.
- Deep expertise in storage protocols such as NVMe, PCIe, and SATA, with a solid understanding of NAND flash technology.
- Proven track record in designing and maintaining complex automation frameworks using Python, C++, or similar scripting languages.
- Strong background in operating systems architecture (Linux/Windows) and kernel-level debugging.
- Experience in leading technical projects and mentoring high-performing engineering teams.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to articulate complex technical challenges to cross-functional stakeholders.
