Renesas is looking for a highly skilled Principal Quality Assurance Engineer to join our dynamic team in Shah Alam. In this pivotal role, you will oversee supplier quality assurance for our cutting-edge AI High Density Power Modules product families. You will act as a strategic partner to suppliers, ensuring that all components meet stringent quality and reliability standards before they reach our production lines. As a Principal Engineer, you will be responsible for establishing quality policies, managing supplier performance, and leading continuous improvement initiatives. We are seeking a proactive professional who can identify risks early and implement robust solutions to maintain our high standards of manufacturing excellence.
Tanggung Jawab
- Lead and manage supplier quality audits and assessments specifically for AI High Density Power Modules.
- Drive the resolution of supplier non-conformance reports (NCRs) and ensure timely implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Develop and maintain robust Quality Management Systems (QMS) and ensure compliance with international standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
- Analyze manufacturing processes and supplier data to identify trends, potential risks, and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams to define quality requirements for new product introductions (NPI) and design reviews.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) to address quality deviations and implement long-term systemic solutions.
- Train and mentor junior quality engineers and suppliers on quality best practices and standards.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in Supplier Quality Engineering or Quality Assurance within the semiconductor, automotive, or electronics industry.
- Strong technical background in Power Electronics and High Density Power Modules.
- Proficiency in quality tools such as SPC (Statistical Process Control), FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis), and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Proven experience in managing supplier relationships and influencing external partners to improve quality performance.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills, and a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex quality data clearly.
