Software International Corporation is seeking a visionary Principal Software Engineer to join our dynamic technology hub in Kuala Lumpur. Tanggung Jawab
- Architect and design scalable, distributed systems that support high-traffic global applications.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to senior and staff-level engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and engineering excellence.
- Collaborate closely with product managers and stakeholders to translate business roadmaps into actionable, high-quality technical specifications.
- Conduct deep-dive code reviews and implement best-in-class security and performance standards.
- Drive innovation by evaluating emerging technologies and integrating them into the existing stack to solve complex engineering challenges.
- Oversee the modernization of legacy infrastructure to improve reliability, maintainability, and deployment velocity.
- Act as an escalation point for mission-critical production issues, ensuring root cause analysis and proactive prevention strategies.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in software development with at least 4 years in a lead or principal capacity.
- Proven track record of architecting cloud-native, high-availability systems (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Expert-level proficiency in at least two modern programming languages (e.g., Java, Go, Python, or C++).
- Deep understanding of microservices architecture, event-driven design, and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Strong knowledge of database design, caching strategies, and performance optimization for large-scale datasets.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders alike.
