Chemical Company of Malaysia is seeking a talented Process Engineer to join our dynamic team in Petaling, Selangor. In this role, you will be at the heart of our production facility, tasked with the planning, design, and optimization of complex process engineering activities.
As a key member of our technical team, you will ensure that our chemical processes are not only efficient and cost-effective but also adhere to the highest standards of safety, quality, and environmental compliance. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot plant issues, lead process improvements, and contribute to the successful execution of high-impact engineering projects. Tanggung Jawab
- Develop, configure, and optimize industrial processes from inception through to startup and certification.
- Conduct process simulations and feasibility studies to support capital project planning and design.
- Monitor and analyze process performance data to identify bottlenecks and implement optimization strategies.
- Ensure all engineering activities comply with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations and internal company policies.
- Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to troubleshoot operational issues and minimize downtime.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure successful project delivery.
- Prepare detailed technical reports, process documentation, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in process engineering within a chemical or manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of process simulation software (e.g., ASPEN, HYSYS) and P&ID development.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex plant processes and implement effective corrective actions.
- Solid understanding of ISO standards, chemical safety regulations, and quality management systems.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills in English and Malay.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies and cost estimation techniques.
