Are you a detail-oriented engineer looking to drive operational excellence? Chemlite Industries is seeking a highly motivated Process Engineer to join our dynamic team in Simpang Ampat, Penang. In this pivotal role, you will be the backbone of our production floor, responsible for analyzing, designing, and optimizing manufacturing processes to ensure peak efficiency, superior quality, and cost-effectiveness.
As a Process Engineer, you will work cross-functionally to troubleshoot production bottlenecks, implement innovative process improvements, and maintain rigorous safety standards. Tanggung Jawab
- Develop, configure, and optimize industrial processes from inception through to startup and certification.
- Assess processes, take measurements, and interpret data to identify areas for improvement and cost reduction.
- Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and implement long-term corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new machinery and technology into existing workflows.
- Maintain compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and environmental protocols.
- Develop best practices, routines, and innovative solutions to improve production rates and quality output.
- Prepare comprehensive documentation, SOPs, and progress reports for management review.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong understanding of process optimization, data analysis, and statistical process control (SPC).
- Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar modeling tools.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-based, manufacturing-floor environment.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or ISO quality standards is highly advantageous.
