As a Process Engineer, you will be at the forefront of our manufacturing operations. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure production processes run smoothly, efficiently, and safely. You will act as the technical expert for process-related issues, utilizing your analytical skills to monitor performance metrics, diagnose problems, and implement robust solutions. Your expertise in continuous improvement methodologies will be crucial as you lead initiatives aimed at enhancing yield, reducing cycle time, and minimizing waste.
In addition to hands-on troubleshooting, you will be responsible for maintaining rigorous engineering documentation control. This includes developing work instructions, managing process flow diagrams, and updating FMEA documents to comply with industry standards. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Production, Quality, and Maintenance, to support new product introductions and resolve complex technical challenges. Your role will also involve conducting process capability studies (CpK, PpK) and applying statistical process control (SPC) to maintain process stability and high quality standards.

Tanggung Jawab
- Monitor and optimize manufacturing processes to ensure maximum efficiency, quality output, and adherence to safety standards.
- Lead root cause analysis and troubleshooting efforts for complex process-related issues, implementing effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Drive continuous improvement projects using Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies to enhance yield, reduce waste, and lower operational costs.
- Establish, manage, and control engineering documentation including work instructions, process flow charts, PFMEA, and control plans.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Production, Quality, Maintenance, R&D) to support new product introductions (NPI) and process scale-up.
- Conduct process capability assessments (CpK/PpK) and utilize statistical process control (SPC) techniques to monitor process stability and performance.
- Specify, validate, and qualify new process equipment, tooling, and automation solutions to support manufacturing requirements.
- Provide technical training and guidance to production operators and technicians to ensure consistent process execution.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Manufacturing Engineering, or a closely related technical field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of proven experience as a Process Engineer in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the electronics or semiconductor industry.
- Strong knowledge of process optimization, statistical analysis (SPC, DOE), and structured problem-solving methods (8D, DMAIC, Fishbone).
- Experience with process documentation standards and quality management systems (ISO 9001, IATF 16949) is highly desired.
- Certification in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher) is a distinct advantage.
- Excellent analytical, project management, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Hands-on experience with manufacturing execution systems (MES) and process control software is a plus.
- Malaysian citizens or permanent residents preferred. Candidates must be willing to work in Bayan Lepas, Penang.
