Tanggung Jawab
- Analyze, design, and optimize existing manufacturing and production processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure product quality.
- Develop and implement new process technologies and modifications, including conducting feasibility studies and risk assessments.
- Perform process simulations, modeling, and calculations to predict and validate process performance.
- Troubleshoot process upsets, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to ensure operational stability and reliability.
- Ensure strict compliance with all relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive process documentation, including P&IDs (Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams), PFDs (Process Flow Diagrams), and operating procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including production, R&D, maintenance, and project management, to achieve project goals.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives through data analysis, performance monitoring, and the application of methodologies like Lean and Six Sigma.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a closely related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience as a Process Engineer in a relevant heavy industry (e.g., Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Manufacturing, Mining).
- Proven expertise in process design, optimization, and troubleshooting, with a strong understanding of P&IDs, PFDs, and material/energy balances.
- Proficiency in process simulation software (e.g., Aspen Hysys, PRO/II, AVEVA PRO/II) and data analysis tools.
- Thorough knowledge of industry safety standards (e.g., HAZOP, LOPA) and environmental regulations.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for technical reporting and inter-departmental collaboration.
- Willingness to be based in Balikpapan, Kalimantan Timur, with potential assignments or opportunities in Jakarta.
