Avery Dennison is a global materials science and manufacturing leader, and we are looking for a highly analytical and proactive Process Engineer (Continuous Improvement) to join our manufacturing team in Semarang. In this role, you will be the driving force behind operational excellence, focusing on the optimization of production lines and the implementation of lean manufacturing methodologies.
You will play a critical role in analyzing complex production data to identify bottlenecks, reduce waste, and increase overall equipment effectiveness (OEE). The ideal candidate is a problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses a deep understanding of process control and continuous improvement frameworks such as Six Sigma, Kaizen, or 5S.

Tanggung Jawab
- Monitor and analyze real-time production performance data to identify trends and operational inefficiencies.
- Design, develop, and implement strategies to optimize production processes and boost output quality.
- Lead root-cause analysis initiatives to resolve recurring production issues and minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Maintenance, Quality Assurance, and Production Planning to execute CI projects.
- Drive the adoption of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies across the shop floor.
- Manage capital projects related to process upgrades and new equipment installation.
- Prepare comprehensive technical reports and progress dashboards for management review.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Process Engineer, preferably in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record of success in implementing Continuous Improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma).
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis software (Minitab, Excel, SAP, or similar).
- In-depth knowledge of manufacturing safety standards and ISO quality protocols.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead and mentor shop-floor teams.
- Fluency in English and Indonesian is essential for effective stakeholder management.
