Malayan Flour Mills is seeking a highly analytical and results-driven Process Engineer to join our Pasir Gudang facility. In this critical role, you will be the backbone of our operational excellence, ensuring that our flour milling processesāfrom wheat intake and cleaning to complex milling and blendingāoperate at peak efficiency.
You will lead impactful improvement projects, troubleshoot operational bottlenecks, and implement innovative engineering solutions to optimize yield, throughput, and product quality. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise in industrial process engineering with a passion for continuous improvement in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

Tanggung Jawab
- Monitor and optimize day-to-day milling operations, ensuring maximum extraction rates and product consistency.
- Lead process improvement initiatives aimed at reducing waste, energy consumption, and downtime across the production line.
- Conduct regular root-cause analysis for production variances and implement corrective/preventive actions.
- Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to execute process upgrades and equipment modifications.
- Manage the technical documentation for milling processes and ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards.
- Oversee wheat blending strategies to ensure the final product meets stringent customer specifications.
- Utilize data analytics to track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and drive continuous process refinement.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelorās Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related Process Engineering field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in process engineering, preferably within the flour milling, grain processing, or food manufacturing industry.
- Strong understanding of industrial milling machinery and separation technologies.
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional projects from inception to implementation.
- Proficiency in process simulation software, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety (OSHA) and quality management systems (HACCP, ISO).
